Our own fearless leader, Louellen Coker, will be a guest speaker at the Women Business Owners of Denton County (WBODC) Social Media Marketing Workshop on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. She, along with three other women business owners (Tamera Bennett of Bennett Law Office, Heather B. Steele of Blue Steele Solutions, and Kristen Nolan of Southwest Airlines), will host three 45-minute sessions and a Q&A panel during lunch.
The team sent out a survey to the WBODC members asking what they would like to learn about social media marketing and have consequently constructed the workshop around their requests. They will cover blogging, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn as well as the whys and hows you should incorporate these mediums. This is your opportunity to find out exactly how social media can help you and why you should actively participate in this new form of marketing.
Interested in learning how social media can boost your business? Don’t worry, it’s not just for members of WBODC. Anyone can participate! It will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Media Room of The Pourhouse Sports Grill, located on 3350 Unicorn Lake Blvd. in Denton. It’s only $15 for members and $20 for reserved guests, and this fee includes lunch. You must RSVP by Thursday, September 9th, otherwise the entry fee will be an additional $5 for both members and guests.
